Linguist
Position Description
As a Simplefive freelance linguist, you will be responsible for translations, transcriptions and editing of texts from a variety of industries. You are an expert in your native language, which for your projects will always be the target language. Knowing both languages is absolutely essential to your success. Large project volumes often require the collaboration of several people in a team. And you will be a member of that team. You will work with the most popular CAT (computer aided translation) tools available. If you are not familiar with it when you start working with us, we'll teach them to you. In terms of your working hours, you can work whenever you prefer. Since you are a freelancer, you can choose the times you want to work that fit best with all of the other commitments you have in life. Being a freelancer for Simplefive is not tied to a specific location.

Language Instructor
Position Description
Our language instructors teach English courses at various companies within the city of Jena. As a Simplefive language instructor, you are integrally involved in adult education and you support small groups of employees from Jena's top companies and/or you support private individuals with their day-to-day work-related communication improvement in a foreign language. You are capable of teaching the language levels A1 to C2. You plan the content of your courses independently, with the help of structures and materials provided by Simplefive. Your courses are generally held once or twice per week.
